Name

Rachel Heine

Position

Film & TV Editor

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Rachel spent most of her childhood composing Nancy Drew-style stories with herself as the protagonist, or in all-day movie marathons with her film-buff mother. She attended the College of Creative Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara for Literature and Creative Writing, contributing to various literary magazines and journals. After a series of office jobs and late nights furiously updating her fledgling film blog, Rachel now serves as full-time Film and TV editor at Buzzine. She spends her free time appreciating the sheer magnificence of a well-done fight sequence, convincing fans of The Wire that Breaking Bad truly is the best TV drama of all time, and debating if Teen Witch can be described as a cinematic classic (spoiler alert: it can).
