It was some years ago that Camper Van Beethoven scored a cult-ish modern rock hit with “Let’s Take the Skinheads Bowling,” but the annual Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival now claims more than a decade of fun.  BYO Records will present the 12th annual event May 6-9th at Sunset Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and tickets are now on sale at PunkRockBowling.com, with availability through Ticketmaster starting March 29th.

The final line-up of bands include Flogging Molly, NoFx, D.R.I., Against Me!, Hot Water Music, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Swinging Utters, The Revival Tour featuring Chuck Ragan and Ben Nichols, Youth Brigade,  F**cked Up, TSOL, 7 Seconds, The Dickies, Cobra Skulls and Teenage Bottlerocket.

The event offers weekend passes, hotel discounts and bowling team registration. Punk Rock Bowling features an all-ages outdoor amphitheater as well as a 21+ indoor lounge for late night shows. Celebrating the independent music community, 850 bowlers are expected to be among 210 participating teams this year — bands, agents, managers, fanzines, radio stations, labels, punk rock clothing and merchandise companies and, for the first time, fans from the general public.
