The Killers will be hitting the road again this September in support of their third album, Day & Age, on Island Records.

The new tour kicks off August 31st at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Washington, D.C., and stops include the Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Jones Beach in New York, and Shoreline Amphitheatre in the San Francisco Bay Area. Additionally, after a headlining set at this year’s Coachella, the band will top the bill at another fest – this year’s Lollapalooza.

The Killers’ newest single, “A Dustland Fairytale,” was kicked off with style recently on The Late Show with David Letterman, where the band performed the song with a 20-piece orchestra.  The video is now available on iTunes.

Also, the Las Vegas outfit recently played at the PinkPop Festival in Holland, where Killers singer Brandon Flowers later joined Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band during their headlining set to duet with the Boss on his classic “Thunder Road.” Fans of both called it the perfect PinkPop moment.
