One of America’s greatest bands, from its musical diversity to skill as players, is hitting the road this fall through the end of the year. Los Lobos will kick off this new road trip on October 24th in Waukegan, Illinois, wrapping up 2008 with a New Year’s Eve Show December 31st in Tucson, Arizona. The band has also lined up shows for 2009.

The band’s performances will include a stint at the fabled Fillmore in San Francisco at the House of Blues chain of clubs in Southern California.

Formed in East Los Angeles some 35 years ago, the five-man band’s recordings, both studio and live, have encompassed a stunning range from blues, rockabilly, and jazz to Latin music that includes Norteno, traditional Mexican, and other Spanish-language folk, to Cuban and afro-cuban works, and much more.
