David Beckham may be leaving Beverly Hills to play soccer in the renowned fashion capital of Milan, but his wife opted to don the hottest, spiciest cloth of Bollywood.

The Spice Girl fittingly chose to sport the feature outfit of a culture known for its spices –- both in food and in fashion.

Victoria Adams, also known as Posh Spice and Victoria Beckham, posed as in Indian bride in the upcoming November issue of Vogue India.

An international fashion icon herself, Adams modeled a traditional wedding sari on the magazine’s cover.

“I’ve never played safe with my image,” the former Spice Girl said in the magazine. “I feel like an Indian princess! It’s so me.”

Adams spoke of the intricate and detailed designs of the fabric she elegantly displayed in the magazine’s cover and spread.

“This is real craftsmanship.”

The upcoming issue of Vogue India featuring the soccer icon’s posh wife will hit newsstands in the United States just before Halloween.

Next month’s spread was announced just one day after Italy’s popular soccer team, AC Milan, acquired David Beckham from the Los Angeles Galaxy on loan through March 2009.
