Hi folks! Actually, you are inside my  Buzzine Magazine Online, your gateway to fun, culture and entertainment. This page, however, is all about yours truly, and contains my latest news, photo gallery, videos, FORBIDDEN ZONE IN COLOR, plus some of my favorite Buzzine articles; including some insane biographical exploits. 

My son Louis and I publish Buzzine together - I’m the editor-in chief, my wife Lauren is senior managing editor, Louis is also chief tech geek, his significant other, Emberly Modine, is our amazing art director, and my mom, novelist Clare Elfman, is our literary editor, and usually has the last word regarding words. (Please meet the full staff.)

Lauren and I are presently living in a 1926 house up in the Hollywood Hills, under that famous sign.  It’s a cool old place, we love to party and entertain on our roof-top deck; a place where many interesting artists have entertained before us; including Robert Downey Jr. and Sarah Jessica Parker, who lived here as a couple, and John Lennon and May Pang, when he ran away from Yoko on his infamous year-long, “Lost Weekend.”  (We toast his awesome ghost!)

Son Louis and lovely-arty Emberly live next door.  My other son, talented actor/producer Bodhi Elfman, and his wonderful wife Jenna Elfman (with recent grandson, Story-Elias) live five minutes away.  Brother Danny Elfman and his beautiful wife Bridget Fonda (and three year old, Oliver) live five minutes away. Mother Clare is a 30 minute drive out to the west side of L.A., but that isn’t considered far in spread-out Los Angeles. The family is fine. Life is good. And work is fun!
