Gene Simmons’s new book, Ladies of the Night, hits stores next week (July 8th). Published by Phoenix Books/Simmons Books, the longtime KISS rock star and reality TV star looks at the history of the world’s oldest profession, in his typical wry way.

Simmons will launch the book on its publication date in Los Angeles at Borders Books in Westwood at 7:00 pm.

Simmons co-founded KISS more than 30 years ago. The band recently released the DVD sets KISSOLOGY, Volumes 1, 2 and 3, as well as the KISS Alive CD Box set.

He also created Nickelodeon’s cartoon show My Dad the Rock Star and Oxygen’s Mr. Romance. His hit (semi-)reality series, Gene Simmons’s Family Jewels on A&E, is probably the funniest of all the celeb daily life shows as, ultimately, he’s a befuddled dad, albeit a very rich one.
