The first Sunset Strip Music Festival is set for June 26-28th in where else but…the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California. The diverse line-up will include B Real of Cypress Hill featuring Slash, alternative popsters Hellogoodbye, new waver revivers Hot Hot Heat, Everclear, Soul Asylum, and Dilated Peoples. The strip’s legendary clubs, The Roxy, Whiskey A-Go-Go, House of Blues, Viper Room, Key Club, and the Cat Club are all uniting for the festival, intended to promote, preserve and perpetuate the Sunset Strip Music Experience and The Strip’s rich music history, contemporary edge, and famous atmosphere.

The event is expected to draw 9,000 consumers, fans, VIPs, and music industry leaders. The festival will kick off Thursday, June 26th at the House of Blues, with a celebrity event MC’d by Sugar Ray frontman/Extra TV show host Mark McGrath, and will pay tribute to Lou Adler, Mario Maglieri, and Elmer Valentine–music industry icons responsible for various eras of the Strip.
