There’s only one thing in the world that can make you more of a rocker than being in Fall Out Boy, and that is marrying Ashlee Simpson.

Pete Wentz is well known as the bassist for the Pop Rock band Fall Out Boy, sporting his usual somber and serious look and black hair.

It only makes sense, then, that he should find himself a suitable bride, namely the other Simpson sister, Ashlee.

“We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I, and we wanted our fans to be the first to know because you guys are the best,” Simpson said in a statement via the website of People Magazine. “Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged.”

Ashlee’s father/manager, Joe, is naturally “totally happy.” And those are totally his words.
