Fans said “make it so,” and they did: Next Tuesday, October 2nd, Paramount Home Entertainment will release the 20th Anniversary definitive collection of Star Trek: The Next Generation, featuring all seven seasons of the acclaimed program. Suggested retail price is $440.00.

The definitive DVD collection features all 176 classic episodes from the series from 1987-1994, including the classic episodes such as the two-part Borg confrontation, “The Best of Both Worlds,” the defense of the android Data as more than just a machine in “Measure of a Man,” and many more memorable programs featuring Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the rest of the crew of the Galaxy-Class Enterprise-D.

The set’s new special features include “The Next Generation’s Impact: 20 Years Later,” “The Next Generation’s Legacy: 2007″ and “Star Trek Visual Effects Magic: A Roundtable Discussion.”

Each season includes additional bonus features exploring various missions, crew profiles, behind-the-scenes featurettes and more. The packaging also comes with an exclusive poster.

Fans are hoping Star Trek: The Next Generation Complete Series will be followed by special Trek collections featuring all episodes of “Deep Space Nine,” “Voyager,” and the four-season “Enterprise” as well.
