Atlantic/Rhino Records will launch a series of Led Zeppelin releases this fall that will include a two-CD best-of set and deluxe reissue of the “Song Remains the Same” concert album and film.

The campaign will kick off November 13th with the two-disc “Mothership” a 24-track anthology available in deluxe and collector’s editions with a DVD, and a four-LP vinyl package will also be issued. The tracks were chosen by surviving members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones. The following week, November 20th, will bring the deluxe reissue of the soundtrack to the 1976 concert film, The Song Remains the Same, as well as a new DVD edition of the film from Warner Home Video.

The new The Song Remains the Same soundtrack will include six extra songs that weren’t on the original release: “Black Dog,” “Over the Hills and Far Away,” “Misty Mountain Hop,” “Since I’ve Been Loving You,” “The Ocean,” and “Heartbreaker.”

The DVD offers new, extra material as well, the band playing “Over the Hills and Far Away,” “Celebration Day,” “The Ocean” and “Misty Mountain Hop.” There’s also a 1976 BBC interview with Plant and Zep manager Peter Grant. Look for HD and Blue-Ray versions too, plus a limited collector’s edition that also throws in a T-shirt with the original album art and reproductions of concert memorabilia.
