Comic-Con 2007 Schedule Announced

Comic-Con 2007, the biggest comic book and beyond gathering in the known universe, is set for July 26th-July 29th in San Diego at the Convention Center, and has announced a full schedule of events.
Among the highlights for Thursday, July 26th:
A look at U.S. Postal Service Marvel Super Hero Stamps; Spike TV’s Scream Awards announcing the 2007 Comic-Con Icon Award; a panel on DC Comics new Countdown mini-series, sending rumblings through that entire Superman-Batman universe; and previews, teasers and talk about the upcoming films Beowulf, The Spiderwick Chronicles, Stardust, Hot Rod, Iron Man, as well as the new Indiana Jones and Star Trek films, with appearings from JJ Abrams, Robert Downey Jr., Jon Favreau, Neil Gaiman, Roger Avary, and SNL’s Andy Samberg; Hanna Barbera Retrospective–Flintstones, Yogi Beat and so much more; From Art to Art: The Challenges of Translating Comic Book Figures to Film Icons—A look from the artists’ perspective; Mondo Marvel, covering all things Marvel, including, one would expect, the controversial death of icon Captain America; Moonstone: Tales of Zorro, where writers and artists discuss Tales of Zorro, the first anthology of original Zorro short fiction ever published, and featuring the first Comic-Con appearance for Guy Williams, Jr; A Cartoon Network Sneak Peek at new projects; Living Long and Prospering: Celebrating 40 Years of Star Trek with a panel of Treksperts; The Pixar Story: To Infinity and Beyond, a new documentary on the award-winning computer animation giant; World Premiere of the direct-to-DVD Superman Doomsday animated film, plus a panel that includes executive producer/director/writer Bruce Timm (Justice League Unlimited, Batman: The Animated Series) and writer Duane Capizzi (The Batman). A second screening is set for later in the evening.
