Sean Connery got so tired of being asked if he would be appearing in the latest Indiana Jones film that he decided to make a public announcement: No. He won’t be returning to the franchise.

Fans were thrilled when the announcement came about an Indy 4, so although it won’t be as good without him, I’m sure they’re just happy to have another one to look forward to.

Steven Spielberg will be directing, and George Lucas will be producing. Also on board are Cate Blanchett, John Hurt and Ray Winstone.

The new chapter doesn’t have a title yet, and principal photography starts this month.
