Beyonce Leads the Pack

Mary J Blige Beyonce is the top nominee for this year’s Soul Train Awards, which are set for Saturday, March 10th at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California. The event will be taped, then broadcast in first run, national syndication from March 17th through March 24th via Tribune Entertainment Company Distribution.
Beyonce is up for three Soul Train Awards: Best R&B/Soul Single, Female, “Irreplaceable”; Best R&B/Soul Album, Female, “B’Day”, and the Michael Jackson Award for Best R&B/Soul or Rap Music Video, also for “Irreplaceable”.
Garnering two nominations each are Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Chris Brown, Gnarls Barkley, Ne-Yo, Yung Joc, Jagged Edge and The Isley Brothers featuring Ronald Isley.
The 21st Anniversary Soul Train Music Awards will be co-hosted by sultry R&B star LeToya, a former member of Destiny’s Child, and R&B star Omarion.
The Soul Train Music Awards are determined by a panel of radio programmers, artists and retailers.
